The agitators tried to cross the Shambhu and Khanauri borders repeatedly and were stopped by the police every time. Now there will be peace for two days – Pandher

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher held a press conference on Wednesday. He has said that our men have been peaceful in the movement. After what happened in Khanori, we felt that talks are difficult in this environment. He said that the government is running away from giving legal guarantee on MSP. A straight bullet is being fired. Pandher said that we have not stopped the highway, that too has been stopped by the government, we are just saying let us move ahead peacefully. He has said that now there will be peace for two days tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, now we will think during this time and later we will clarify the entire situation as to what will be our further movement.

Attack on police with sticks and machetes

Haryana Police has claimed that their soldiers have been badly attacked by farmers. Police said that at the Data Singh-Khanori border, the protesters poured chilli powder in the stubble and surrounded the police from all sides. Along with pelting stones, the farmers also attacked the policemen using sticks and machetes. About 12 policemen have been seriously injured in this incident. The police have appealed to the protesters for peace.

It is important to maintain peace- Arjun Munda

Amidst the fierce protests by farmers, Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda said on Wednesday that the Center is ready to discuss all issues. Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda wrote on Twitter, “After the fourth round, the government is ready to discuss all the issues like demand for guarantee of MSP, crop diversification, stubble issue, FIR in the fifth round. I appeal to the farmer leaders to discuss again. “It is important for us to maintain peace.”
