Dehradun: Ramlala’s life is going to be consecrated on January 22 in the newly built Ram temple of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Preparations are being made for this program across the country. In Uttar Pradesh, January 22 has been declared a public holiday. Along with this, this day has also been declared as dry day in the state. Similarly, in the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, all the contracts will remain closed on January 22.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave orders in this regard during a meeting held in Dehradun on Friday. Along with this, he directed that grand events should be organized under the cultural festival in the state from 14 to 22 January 2024. At the same time, cleanliness campaign should be conducted on a large scale in temples, ghats, establishments and cities of the districts. He said that Prasad should be distributed in all major temples and Gurudwaras on January 22.
There will be dry day in UP also on 22nd January
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order to close liquor vends in the entire state on this day. The Excise Department has written a letter to all the Excise Commissioners and District Magistrates of the state, saying that all liquor vends should be closed on January 22.

In view of this, all the liquor shops in the state will remain closed. It has been said in this letter that the licensee will not be entitled to any compensation or claim for this closure. The Excise Commissioner has said that all district excise officers should strictly follow this order.
