Pollution level increasing again in Delhi

After the rain in Delhi on Friday, the weather of Delhi-NCR has remained pleasant. Due to this, a decline in the level of air pollution has also been recorded. The air quality index which was earlier above 400 was in the severe category. After the rain, AQI remains between 200-300, which indicates poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality in entire Delhi has been recorded in the poor category. AQI has been recorded at 266 at Anand Vihar, 241 at RK Puram, 233 at Punjabi Mang and 227 at ITO.

Delhi air pollution reduction

Earlier on Saturday, AQI 282 was recorded in Anand Vihar. Whereas 220 AQI was recorded in RK Puram, 236 in Punjabi Bagh, 263 in ITO. Let us tell you that after the rain, heavy rainfall was seen in Delhi. Shortly after the rain, on Friday, AQI was recorded at 162 in Anand Vihar, 85 in New Delhi, 87 in Rohini, 91 in Punjabi Bagh and 97 in Shahdara. On Thursday, AQI was recorded at 459 in Dwarka Sector 8, 453 at RK Puram, 452 at Nehru Nagar, 449 at Najafgarh, 446 at IGI Airport, 445 at Punjabi Bagh and 441 at ITO.

On Thursday itself, 439 in Wazirpur, 438 in Shadipur, 437 in Bawana, 434 in Patparganj, 433 in Okhla, 433 in Jahangirpuri, 432 in Anand Vihar, 428 in Mundka, 423 in Sonia Vihar, 422 in Sirifort Delhi and AQI in DTU. 402 AQI was recorded. According to SAFAR India, the amount of PM 2.5 in Delhi was recorded at 247 on November 8. Which indicates a bad category. Whereas the quantity of PM 10 was recorded at 426 which is twice the average. Let us tell you that on Thursday, the minimum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 16 degrees and the maximum temperature was 30 degrees Celsius.
