All India Transport Congress members’ meeting with Home Ministry ends

New Delhi: The meeting of All India Transport Congress members with the Home Ministry has ended. Core Committee Chairman Bal Malkit Singh has said that an appeal has been made to end the strike. The government has listened to us and the Home Secretary has said that the misunderstanding has been cleared.

The organization has been told by the government that at present this law will not be implemented and whenever it will be implemented, it will be done after talking to the organization.

Core Committee Chairman Bal Malkit Singh said that the government said that the law of 10 years imprisonment and fine is not applicable yet. We will discuss this further. We give you full assurance that these laws will not be implemented further. Whatever concerns you people have, we will take them to the government. If this law is implemented then the government will have to walk over our dead bodies. Only after that the government will be able to implement this law.
