Alliance between BJP, TDP and Janasena Party in Andhra Pradesh, agreement on seat sharing – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: Before the Lok Sabha elections, the alliance between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janasena has been sealed in Andhra Pradesh. TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu informed about this alliance. He said that an agreement has been reached between his party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janasena Party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

This alliance is beneficial for the country and the state- Naidu

Speaking to reporters, Naidu said, ‘Andhra Pradesh has been completely ruined; The coming together of BJP and TDP is beneficial for the country and the state.” He also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here. Naidu claimed that the TDP-BJP-Janasena alliance would wipe out the opposition parties in the Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. He also targeted the ruling YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh.

Sealed after second round of talks

Sources said that after the second round of talks on Saturday, all three parties approved the alliance. He said that BJP and Jana Sena together can contest elections on about eight Lok Sabha and 30 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, TDP will contest the remaining 17 Lok Sabha seats and 145 assembly seats. He told that the official announcement of the alliance will be made soon.

BJP will contest on 6 Lok Sabha seats – election sources

Sources said that BJP can contest elections on about six Lok Sabha seats and the same number of assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. He said the alliance was agreed upon during the second round of talks between Naidu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan. Along with Lok Sabha, assembly elections are also to be held in Andhra Pradesh. (input language)
