Addressing the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Nagpur, the Army Chief said the challenges of our inherited unstable borders will continue to bedevil us. This comment of Army Chief General Pandey comes amid the ongoing standoff on the border with China in eastern Ladakh. Highlighting various regional and global security challenges, General Pandey said that there is increasing competition for authority in the Indo-Pacific region through traditional and non-traditional means. “Expecting the unexpected is something that is important for us,” he said.
