Union Minister Jitendra Singh further said that during the construction of the Ram temple, special care has been taken that every year on the day of ‘Shri Ram Navami’, at noon, the sun’s rays fall on the forehead of the idol of Lord Ram for about 6 minutes. Please note that Ram Navami is usually celebrated on the ninth day of the first month of the Hindu calendar in March-April, which marks the birthday of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Indian Institute of Astrophysics provided technical assistance

CSIR-CBRI Roorkee (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Central Building Research Institute) has made important efforts in the initial stages of the construction of the Ram temple. The institute has contributed in the design of the main temple, design of the Surya Tilak system, investigation of the design of the temple foundation and implementing structural health monitoring of the main temple.
He also mentioned that CSIR-NGRI Hyderabad gave important inputs on foundation design and seismic/earthquake safety. Additionally, space technology expertise from several IITs and ISRO were involved in the construction of this grand structure.
