Before Madhya Pradesh elections, SP made alliance with Mahan Dal, there can be a big upheaval in these areas.

Madhya Pradesh Election 2023 News: The upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are becoming special in many ways. First, a dispute arose between Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding seat sharing in Madhya Pradesh and it seems to be affecting the INDIA alliance as well. Now amidst this dispute, Samajwadi Party and Mahan Dal seem to be united once again.

Recently, Mahan Dal President Keshav Dev Maurya had shared the stage with Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in Jatara constituency of Madhya Pradesh. This mail had troubled other parties. In fact, Mahan Dal has a good vote base among OBC groups like Shakya, Saini, Kushwaha and Maurya in Rohilkhand and western UP regions.

The alliance was broken at the last moment in the UP assembly elections.

Mahan Dal was part of the SP-led alliance in the 2022 UP assembly elections. However, later the Mahan Dal chief decided to exit the SP alliance. He alleged that Akhilesh had ignored him. Earlier this year, the party had started the campaign for Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in UP. But now suddenly SP and Mahan Dal are together once again for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said, ‘Mahan Dal is supporting SP candidates in Madhya Pradesh. The party has voluntarily offered its support to SP.

What did Akhilesh Yadav say on this friendship?

At the same time, in his speech at a rally in Madhya Pradesh, Akhilesh announced that SP and the great parties have come together once again. He said, “We were never really separated from the great party. The distance had increased, but the MP elections have removed it.

Mahan Dal said – Right now the alliance is only for MP

Mahan Dal chief Maurya told The Indian Express, “I met Akhilesh in Lucknow on October 23 and now I can announce that we have an alliance with SP in Madhya Pradesh and we are supporting it there.” Regarding the future of the alliance, Maurya said, “If his party’s share remains intact, it will continue. As of now the alliance is only for Madhya Pradesh. “Two candidates of my party are contesting on SP symbol from Prithvipur and Jatara seats.”
