Lok Sabha Election 2024: Karnataka is an important state of the country. There are a total of 28 Lok Sabha constituencies and 224 assembly seats in the state. At present, BJP’s Tejashwi Surya is the MP from here, who is also the national president of the party’s Yuva Morcha. Surya is considered a very dynamic leader. He got 739229 votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Whereas Congress candidate Bike Hariprasad could get only 408037 votes. At the third position is Bahujan Samaj Party’s A. There was Raju, who could not even save his bail. He got only 3864 votes.

Let us inform you that to elect the 17th Lok Sabha, voting was held on Bengaluru South seat in the second phase of 2019 general elections i.e. on 18th April. Bengaluru South is an urban parliamentary constituency where the literacy rate is close to 88.99%. According to 2014 data, there are 10,50,737 male and 9,47,667 female voters here. Here the Scheduled Caste population is around 8.02% and the Scheduled Tribe population is around 1.7%.
