ED alleges that the group collected crores of rupees from thousands of people by promising them plots, flats and houses in two real estate companies under different names and invested the money in their other companies. After this, CBI had registered FIR in this case in Kolkata and Lucknow branches.
The blame may fall on many leaders
Investigation revealed that apart from Mamata Banerjee, several leaders of Trinamool Congress Party including Mukul Roy, Munmun Sen, Nusrat Jahan and others, paid for the air services used for election campaign in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections by Alchemist Company.
