BJP leader Anupam Hazra removed from the post of national minister, President gave instructions

New Delhi: BJP leader Anupam Hazra has been removed from the post of national minister. This information has been given by BJP’s National General Secretary Arun Singh through a letter. It is written in this letter, ‘As per the instructions of Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Anupam Hazra is relieved from the post of National Minister. This information will come into effect with immediate effect.

Hazra has been giving controversial statements against BJP

Anupam Hazra is often in the news due to his controversial statements. In September 2023, he had put his own party in the circle of questions. While Trinamool Congress (TMC) strongly hit back at his statement, his party BJP distanced itself from his comment.

Actually, Anupam Hazra had created controversy by saying that ‘corrupt’ TMC leaders who are afraid of CBI and ED summons should contact him to join BJP. After this the state unit distanced itself from his comments. However, Hazra later claimed that his comments were misinterpreted.

On this, the ruling TMC said that BJP has become a ‘washing machine’ and is misusing central agencies to fulfill its political interests. Hazra had made this comment at the party’s organizational meeting in Bolpur in Birbhum district.
