Bollywood-Tollywood’s links with drug syndicate linked again; Film made with drug money – India TV Hindi

NCB has arrested Zafar Sadiq, a Tamil film producer, for running an international drug syndicate. His arrest was made with the help of Special Cell from Delhi. Big revelations have come to light in the interrogation of Zafar Sadiq. During interrogation, Zafar Sadiq told that its links were connected to India-Australia-New Zealand drug cartel. Zafar Sadiq was investing the money earned from this drug business in film making, real estate, hotel and other businesses. Let us tell you that only last week three accused associated with this syndicate were caught.

Drugs worth Rs 4 thousand crore supplied

During the interrogation of these three accused associated with the syndicate, the identity of Zafar Sadiq was revealed. When searched, it was found that Zafar Sadiq was absconding since 15th February. He was hiding in Trivandrum, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Jaipur. 50 kilograms of Pseudoephedril has been recovered from his possession. This pseudoephedril was sent to New Zealand and Australia in the guise of coconut and dry fruits. It has also come to light that he had links with DMK party also. During interrogation, Zafar told that till now he has sent 45 parcels to Australia. He used to charge Rs 1 lakh per kg for supplying this drug. Till now he has sent 3500 kg Pseudoephedril. That means it has supplied around Rs 4 thousand crores.

Udayanidhi gave Rs 7 lakh to Stalin

Zafar Sadiq also has a hotel in Chennai. In 2019, its name had come up in front of Mumbai Customs in drug smuggling. The price of this drug named Pseudoephedril is Rs 1.5 crore per kg. Names of some people associated with Tamil and Bollywood have also surfaced in this syndicate. Zafar Sadiq told that he has given Rs 7 lakh to DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin. Gave 5 lakhs to the relief fund during the flood and 2 lakhs to the party fund. Investigation is going on for what purpose this money was given and whether the money was given to Stalin for drugs.

Film made with drug money

Not only this, the angle of casting couch has also come to light in this investigation. NCB is writing a letter to ED to investigate money laundering. NCB will soon issue summons to some Bollywood film financiers and call them for questioning. Besides, NCB can also call Udhayanidhi Stalin for questioning. Drugs kingpin Zafar Sadiq’s film named Mangai was about to be released. NCB’s inquiry has revealed that the Tamil film named ‘Mangai’ was made with drug money.
