Breach in the security of Parliament: Case registered against the accused under UAPA, interrogation continued throughout the night

New Delhi: In the case of breach in the security of Parliament, Delhi Police has registered a case against the accused under sections of UAPA and IPC sections 120B, 452. The police interrogated the four accused arrested in this case throughout the night. Today these accused will be presented in the court.

Investigation of the case from different angles

According to the information, the Special Cell of Delhi Police is not only interrogating the accused but is also conducting raids at many places. More than a dozen teams of Special Cell are investigating the case from different angles. The matter is also being investigated from the terror angle. Yesterday during the proceedings of the Parliament, suddenly two youths jumped into the House from the entertainment and Sagar audience gallery and sprayed yellow smoke. During this time there was chaos inside the house. The MPs and the marshal present there controlled the accused.

Five accused arrested, one absconding

According to the police, a total of 6 people are involved in this case, out of which five have been arrested. One person Lalit Jha is still absconding. All these people were staying in the house of a person named Vicky Sharma. Vicky has also been arrested. The two persons caught from inside the Parliament have been identified as Manoranjan and Sagar. The two people who were caught from outside the Parliament House have been identified as Neelam and Amol.

The accused were associated with Bhagat Singh fan club

According to the information, all the accused were associated with the social media page Bhagat Singh Fan Club and they all met each other in Mysore about one and a half years ago. Sagar came to Delhi from Lucknow in July to execute his plans but he could not go inside the Parliament House. On December 10, one by one all the accused reached Delhi from their respective states. Had reached Vicky’s house in Gurugram on the night of 10th December. Lalit Jha had also reached Gurugram late in the night. Amol had brought colored crackers from Maharashtra.
