Border Security Force
The Border Security Force (BSF) killed a Pakistani infiltrator who was trying to enter Indian territory in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan early Friday. BSF personnel deployed on the border spotted an infiltrator trying to enter Indian territory in Sundarpura area ahead of the border fencing at around 12.30 am. Senna immediately challenged him but he continued towards the fence. After this the BSF soldiers opened fire on the intruder.
The body is being handed over to the police
At present, it is not known whether the killed person is a terrorist or someone else. BSF said in a statement that the body is being handed over to the police as per legal protocol.
BSF protects India-Pakistan border
Let us inform you that BSF soldiers have been deployed on the border to protect the 3,323 km long India-Pakistan border with Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir, Union Territory Ladakh. BSF was established after the India-Pakistan War of 1965 to ensure the security of India’s borders and related matters. It has various active roles during the outbreak of war.
Infiltrator was killed in Punjab also
Seven months before this, a Pakistani infiltrator was killed on the International Border in Tarn Taran district of Punjab. A Border Security Force (BSF) official said that Border Security Force personnel noticed suspicious activity of a person near Thekalan village in the morning. The soldiers challenged the intruder but he did not stop and continued moving forward.
