New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a big statement regarding CAA. Amit Shah said that CAA notification will be issued in the country before the Lok Sabha elections. He said, “I want to make it clear that CAA will not take away the citizenship of any person. Its purpose is to give citizenship only to Pakistani, Afghan and Bangladeshi minorities facing religious persecution.”

BJP will get more than 370 seats- Amit Shah

Along with this, Amit Shah said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP will get 370 seats and NDA will get more than 400 seats. He said that the government will be formed for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah said there is no suspense over the results of the Lok Sabha elections and even the Congress and other opposition parties have realized that they will have to sit on the opposition benches again.

He said, “We have abrogated (Article 370 of the Constitution, which gave special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir).
