Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, all the parties including BJP and Congress are busy in making their political preparations. The special thing is that the clan of BJP led NDA is continuously increasing. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that BJP, Pawan Kalyan’s party Jana Sena and Chandrababu Naidu’s party TDP may contest elections together in Andhra Pradesh. Let us tell you that TDP has already been a part of NDA. Amidst all these possibilities, Andhra Pradesh CM and YSRCP President Jaganmohan Reddy met PM Modi on Friday.

What issues were discussed?

YSR Congress Party sources have informed that Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliament complex on Friday and demanded to give special status to the state. Special category status is one of the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, through which the separate Telangana state was formed in June 2014. Apart from this, pending schemes of the state have been discussed between the two leaders.

Close to BJP-TDP alliance

It is believed that BJP and Telugu Desam Party can contest elections together once again. It is reported that the discussion on seat sharing is also going on between the two parties. Along with this, BJP is also with Pawan Kalyan’s party Janasena. In such a situation, the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh may be interesting. Recently Chandrababu Naidu has also met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. If sources are to be believed, BJP may get 6 or 7 seats in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, film star Pawan Kalyan’s party Janasena can be given 2 seats in the alliance.

Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held simultaneously!

In Andhra Pradesh, both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections can be held simultaneously in 2024. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party had won overwhelmingly in both the elections held in the year 2019. YSR Congress had won 151 out of 175 assembly seats in the state. At the same time, out of 25 seats in the Lok Sabha, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party had captured 22 seats.
