Guru Nanak Dev, the founder and first Guru of Sikhism, was born on the full moon date of Kartik month. Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated every year across the country on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. In such a situation, Guru Nanak Jayanti is being celebrated with great pomp across the country on 27th November. Meanwhile, Chief Ministers of many states reached the Gurudwara. Here he bowed and also gave a message to the nation. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Gurudwara situated in Ashian area of ​​Lucknow on the occasion of 554th Prakash Parv. Here he participated in the program organized on the occasion of 554th Prakash Parv.

CM Yogi said here that Sikh religion is full of deep knowledge of worship and rituals. Guru Nanak Dev Ji carried forward this tradition and linked it with programs of religious awareness. These programs progressed and resulted in the protection of the country and religion. CM said that the story of sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur, Guru Gobind Singh and their four Sahibzades along with thousands of Sikhs gives new inspiration to the country. He said that Khalsa is not just a sect. It is a light emanating from the blessings of Gurus for the protection of faith and country. Who bowed down to foreign invaders in adverse circumstances.

CM Yogi said that the establishment of Sikh sect became the reason for the decline of the Mughal Sultanate. Mughals were spread all over the country. Today Sikhs are spread all over the world. But now the Mughal Empire is nowhere to be seen. Because that was the path of truth and faith. He said what the four Sahibzadas did for the country and religion. Aurangzeb tried to make them accept Islam. But the two younger sons accepted to be elected to the wall. The other two sons Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh lost their lives on the battlefield, but did not surrender before the enemy.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also reached the Gurudwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. CM Shivraj reached Gurudwara Sahib located in Obaidullagan, Raisen. Here he paid obeisance. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also paid obeisance at the Gurudwara. Khattar reached Nada Sahib Gurdwara and offered prayers. Here he paid tribute to Guru Nanak Dev.
