Cold will return again in Delhi-NCR! IMD issued alert regarding rain – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: For the last one week, the weather in Delhi-NCR has started feeling hot. The temperature is also continuously increasing. It is mildly cold in the morning and evening and the sun is shining brightly during the day. The effect of cold wave was visible in the beginning of February but now even that is not there. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Center (IMD) has issued a rain warning.

Cold will increase in Delhi

Issuing a rain alert, IMD has said that due to the effect of western disturbance, light rain is expected in Delhi on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to this, the maximum temperature may decrease by three to four degrees. Due to decrease in temperature, coolness will increase once again. Along with this, snowfall is also expected in the hilly areas.

Chance of rain till Wednesday

IMD has said that there will be light fog in the morning on Sunday but the sky will be covered with light clouds during the day. Along with this, there is a possibility of wind along with rain on Monday. There may be light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday while there is a possibility of light rainfall on Wednesday. There is also a possibility of a storm on Monday.

The Meteorological Department has said that the effect of Western Disturbance will last till February 22. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Delhi-NCR during the next two weeks. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall and rain in the mountains also. This system will gradually move towards Punjab, Haryana and North-West Rajasthan.
