Congress is in no mood to give 23 seats to Uddhav faction, will hold a big meeting in Mumbai

Even before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, tension regarding seats has started between the opposition parties. Let us tell you that at present the dispute regarding seats is deepening in the INDIA alliance of Congress and various opposition parties of the country. Kejriwal in Punjab, Mamata in Bengal and Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) in Maharashtra are not ready to compromise on seats under any circumstances. The Uddhav faction alone has staked claim on 23 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Congress is not ready for 23 seats

Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena has been staking claim to contest elections on 23 Lok Sabha seats of Maharashtra for the past several days. However, if sources are to be believed, the state unit of Congress is not ready to accept 23 seats under any circumstances. If sources are to be believed, Congress has also staked claim on 20 seats in Maharashtra. Let us tell you that in Maharashtra, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena are part of INDIA Alliance. If Uddhav faction contests on 23 seats and Congress on 20 seats, only 5 seats will be left for Sharad Pawar’s NCP.

Congress will hold a meeting

Congress has become alert after Shiv Sena’s (UBT) claim on 23 Lok Sabha seats. Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chennithala has been ordered to go to Mumbai. Ramesh Chennithala will reach Mumbai on January 11 and a big Congress meeting will be held here on January 11 and 12. In this meeting, all the seats of Lok Sabha will be reviewed. The opinion of the local leaders on each seat will be recorded. After this, Ramesh Chennithala will submit this report to the Delhi high command.

Uddhav Thackeray will go to Delhi

Amidst the ongoing dispute over seats, there is also news that Uddhav Thackeray is going to Delhi. Here on January 9 and 10, Uddhav will meet Congress leaders. During this time, there can be a discussion between Uddhav and Congress leaders regarding the political situation in Maharashtra and the distribution of seats between INDIA Alliance.
