Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started a new controversy regarding PM Modi’s caste. Rahul Gandhi has claimed that PM Modi was born normal and not in the OBC category. He was born in the Teli caste of Gujarat. This community was given the tag of OBC by BJP in the year 2000. However, questions are now being raised on this claim of Rahul Gandhi. Narhari Amin, who was holding the post of Deputy CM in the then Congress government of Gujarat in 1994, has also made a big revelation refuting Rahul Gandhi’s claim.
What did the then Deputy CM say?
Leader Narhari Amin, who was then serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, has said that I was serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat in the Congress government when the Gujarat government notified Modh-Ghanchi as OBC on 25 July 1994. This is the same caste from which our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes. He has said that this decision and the subsequent notification of the Government of India came when PM Modi was not even an MP/MLA, leave alone becoming the Chief Minister.
Rahul Gandhi is creating foolish lies – Narhari
Narhari Amin, the then Deputy CM and currently BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat, said that Rahul Gandhi is insulting the OBC communities by creating a mindless lie on this issue. He has demanded Rahul Gandhi to immediately withdraw his lie. Narhari said that Rahul should stop defaming OBCs and should also apologize to the people of Gujarat for being filled with hatred towards our popular Prime Minister.
Rahul cornered PM Modi regarding caste census
Rahul said that when I talked about caste census and social justice, PM Modi said – there are only two castes in the country – rich and poor. If there are two castes then which are you? You are not poor. You wear a suit worth crores. Changes clothes several times a day, then lies that I am a man from OBC category.
