Delhi: Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will start from Manipur today. Many Congress leaders have reached the airport to participate in this yatra. In this sequence, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also left for Delhi airport from his residence. From here all these people will leave for Manipur. The journey will pass through 110 districts
Let us tell you that this journey of Congress will pass through 15 states and 110 districts in 67 days. A distance of approximately 6,700 kilometers will be covered during the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. The journey will mostly be by bus, but at some places there will also be walking. ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will pass through Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. This visit is being considered politically important in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Bharat Jodo Yatra lasted for 136 days
Earlier, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had taken out ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir from September 7, 2022 to January 30, 2023. His 136-day padyatra covered a distance of 4,081 kilometers passing through 75 districts and 76 Lok Sabha constituencies in 12 states and two union territories.
