Dead 11 year old boy reached Supreme Court on papers, said – ‘Judge sir, I am alive’

New Delhi: Many times, during a hearing in the Supreme Court, something happens that leaves the entire courtroom, including the judge, stunned. Something similar happened recently during the hearing of a case. A case of murder of a child was being heard in the court. Then suddenly an 11 year old child comes and tells that he is alive and this whole matter is wrong. After this the entire court is stunned.

Actually this matter is from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh. Here a father had filed a murder case against his maternal grandfather and four maternal uncles for the murder of his child. The father had claimed that they had murdered his son. After this Pilibhit police registered the case. The child’s maternal grandfather also went to Allahabad High Court against this complaint, but he did not get relief there either.

According to media reports, the boy was living with Pane Nana since February 2013. The boy’s father used to beat his mother brutally and was demanding more dowry from the family. During this period, the child’s mother died in 2013. After which he started living with his maternal grandfather. After the death of her mother, her maternal grandfather had lodged an FIR against his son-in-law under section 304-B ​​(dowry death) of the Indian Penal Code. Meanwhile, the son-in-law had demanded the custody of his son, due to which a legal battle started between the two families.

Father filed a case of murder against maternal uncles and maternal grandfather

Earlier this year, the child’s father had accused his maternal grandfather and four maternal uncles of murder for the murder of his son. Police registered a case under IPC sections 302 (murder), 504 (intentional insult) and 506 (criminal intimidation) on the father’s complaint. After which they went to Allahabad High Court, but they did not get relief from there also. After which the child had to be brought during the hearing in the Supreme Court.

Court issued notice to government and district police officer

Now in this matter, the Supreme Court has also issued notice to the Uttar Pradesh Government, Pilibhit Superintendent of Police and the police officer. The next hearing of the case will be in January 2024. During the hearing, the child claimed that his father had implicated his maternal grandfather and maternal uncles in his murder. He said that the case is false and he is alive.
