Thiruvananthapuram: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Alappuzha, Kerala. Four members of a family, including two children, were found dead inside their house in Thalavadi in the district on Friday. There was a stir in the area after this incident. The deceased were identified as Sunu, Soumya and their two children Adi and Adil. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigating the incident.
Was undergoing treatment for blood cancer
When the police reached the spot, both the husband and wife were found hanging and the children were found covered with a sheet on their bed. According to local people, Soumya worked as a nurse and was undergoing treatment for blood cancer. Meanwhile, Sunu was suffering from spinal cord problems after an accident. Local people said that since both of them were undergoing treatment and were short of money, they were finding it difficult to survive.
Information about such incident
On Thursday evening, the couple had called one of their friends, who used to accompany Soumya for blood transfusion, asking him to come after 10 am on Friday. When Sunu’s mother, who lived next door to the family, did not hear from any of them in the morning, she went home and found the bodies. After this the police was informed. Let us tell you that recently in Tumkuru district of Karnataka, five people of the same family had committed suicide.
