Delhi Pollution: Delhi NCR’s air is still in very poor category, know AQI

Light rain in Delhi NCR has made the sky clear and the weather pleasant. Due to light rain, the pollution level of the area has also reduced. For the last few days, the AQI level was near 400 in many areas of the capital. However, on Wednesday the pollution level improved by 80 points compared to the intervening two days, due to which people heaved a sigh of relief. Let us know how is Delhi’s AQI today…

What is today’s AQI?

Dense fog is being seen in Delhi on Wednesday. The AQI of the capital was recorded around 318 on Wednesday. There has been an improvement of 80 points in AQI compared to the last two days, but the pollution level still remains in the very poor category.

Grape-3 restrictions lifted

In view of the reduction in pollution levels, Delhi’s Air Quality Management Commission has lifted the restrictions of Group-3. After this, the ban on construction works and demolition will be lifted. Besides, the ban on running brick kilns and stone crushers will also be removed. Now the ban on BS 3 and 4 petrol vehicles and light motor wheelers will also be removed. Now these vehicles will be able to enter Delhi.

It will rain further

It has been raining intermittently in Delhi NCR region for the last two days. According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather conditions may be seen for the next two days. Till December 4, there may be fog in the morning and cold winds may also blow during the day. Due to this rain the temperature of the area may drop to a great extent.
