Devotees will be able to enjoy ‘Water Metro’ in Ayodhya, 50 passengers will be able to travel simultaneously – India TV Hindi

Ayodhya: In the religious city of Ayodhya, devotees will now be able to enjoy the unique ‘Water Metro’ after having darshan of Ram Lalla in the grand Ram temple. This water metro will run from Sant Tulsidas Ghat to Guptar Ghat in Saryu River. Let us tell you that there is a distance of about 14 kilometers between these two ghats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the water metro on Friday. Let us tell you that before this, Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the Kochi Water Metro Project in April last year, which connects 10 islands around Kochi.

What is the specialty of Ayodhya’s water metro?

Let us tell you that in the water metro which is going to run in Ayodhya, 50 passengers will be able to travel at a time. This water metro has air conditioning. Its name is ‘Kata Meran Vessel Boat’. To charge the water metro, charging points have been made at Sant Tulsidas Ghat and Guptar Ghat. Once charged, the water metro will last for a total of one hour. A ‘display board’ has also been installed in this water metro for information of passengers. Life saving jackets and other equipment have also been kept in this metro to deal with any kind of emergency.

PM Modi came on Varanasi tour

Let us tell you that today PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many development projects worth more than Rs 13000 crore in Varanasi. The Prime Minister visited Banas Kashi Sankul, the milk processing unit of Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited, built in UPIDS Agro Park in Karkhiyavan, Varanasi and interacted with the beneficiaries. He also gave employment letters and GI-authorized user certificates during his visit to Varanasi. Among the projects inaugurated by PM Modi today were projects in important sectors like roads, rail, aviation, tourism, education, health, drinking water, urban development and sanitation.
