What is the whole matter?
The central agency on Thursday launched raids against former MLA and Congress MLA from Sonipat Surendra Panwar and former INLD MLA Dilbag Singh in a money laundering case related to alleged illegal mining in Haryana’s Yamunanagar district. In this raid, ED has recovered many materials including foreign made weapons, about 300 cartridges.

During the searches conducted by the Enforcement Directorate against INLD MLA Dilbag Singh and his associates, foreign made weapons, about 300 cartridges, Rs 5 crore in cash have been recovered. The case stems from several FIRs lodged by the Haryana Police to investigate alleged illegal mining of boulders, gravel and sand that took place in the past in Yamunanagar and adjoining districts even after the lease expiry period and court orders.

Immense cash and gold recovered
ED has recovered 4-5 kg ​​of gold and huge amount of cash at around 20 locations of both politicians and related organizations in Yamunanagar, Sonipat, Mohali, Faridabad, Chandigarh and Karnal. Apart from this, documents related to property in India and abroad have been recovered.
