Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a dig at the Congress and Communist parties which are trying to prepare a strong alternative against the BJP at the Centre. PM Modi said in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday that Congress and Communist parties are enemies of each other in Kerala, but in other states they are ‘BFF’ i.e. ‘evergreen friends’. Addressing the concluding ceremony of BJP’s state unit’s padyatra at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, Modi hit out at the opposition, claiming it has no blueprint for the country’s progress.

‘The opposition has accepted that it will not be able to win the Lok Sabha elections’

PM Modi said that the opposition has accepted that it will not be able to win in the Lok Sabha elections to be held this year, that is why its leaders are adopting the strategy of calling them ‘good and bad’. He said, ‘In Kerala, Congress and Communists are enemies of each other, but in other states they are ‘BFF’. BFF means best friends forever. He said that Congress accused Communist Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of being involved in corruption and scams and termed the Left government as fascist.

‘In Kerala they conduct lathicharge and eat samosas and biscuits outside’

PM Modi said, ‘In response to this, the communists lathicharged the Congress workers and accused their previous administrations of being involved in various scams, but in the meetings of the ‘INDI’ alliance outside Kerala, they sit together, eating samosas and biscuits. Eat and drink tea. That is, in Thiruvananthapuram they say one thing and in Delhi they say something else. The people of Kerala will answer for this betrayal in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Modi urged the people of Kerala to give their blessings to his party by winning double digit seats in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

‘BJP never looks at any state from the perspective of vote bank’

PM Modi said that BJP never looks at any state from the perspective of vote bank. Modi claimed that in the last 10 years, Kerala has benefited from development like other BJP-ruled states. He said that this is his guarantee that he will make every possible effort to realize the dreams and aspirations of the people of Kerala. Prime Minister Modi said that along with making India the third largest economy in the world, eradicating poverty and corruption from the country is ‘Modi’s guarantee’.
