CM Dhami had a special talk with India TV
Uttarkashi: All the 41 laborers who were safely evacuated from Uttarkashi Tunnel are being shifted to Rishikesh AIIMS. All the laborers have been sent to Rishikesh AIIMS Hospital via Chinook. The reason behind this has also come to light. Actually, due to medical protocol, these laborers are being shifted to Rishikesh AIIMS because there is a protocol to keep them in the hospital for 48 hours. There is a protocol to keep Chinyali Medical Center and AIIMS together in this 48 hours.
What did CM Dhami say to India TV?
CM Dhami went to Chinyalisaur Hospital and met the workers and gave a check of Rs 1 lakh to everyone. He spoke exclusively to India TV and said that the rescue operation was very difficult. The problem increased when the auger machine broke down. Earlier it seemed that the pipe would go inside easily. I had set up an office in Uttarkashi itself.
He said that PM Modi continued to provide guidance during the rescue operation. Many times it seemed that the workers would come out within some time. However, all the workers were healthy inside the tunnel and no worker used the stretcher. Prime Minister Modi worried about the laborers like his children.
