Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra had a special conversation with India TV.

The construction of the temple was completed with divine blessings. The budget was estimated at Rs 2000 crore. Donations worth Rs 3500 crore were received from more than 5 lakh villages. Not even a single penny of the government was invested in the construction of the temple.

He said, ‘Everyone who brings pride to the country has been invited. There is no difference between the temples of North and South India. People of all religions were invited to the consecration ceremony. The Prime Minister wanted that Ram Temple should belong to all people. Prime Minister Modi himself decided to perform the rituals.

Nripendra Mishra said, ‘The cost of building the 795 meter long wall was more than that of the temple. The idol of Ramlala is just below the highest peak of the temple. The temple construction will be completed by 31 December 2024. On the day of Ram Navami, the sun’s rays will fall on Ramlala’s forehead. At 12 noon the sun’s rays will fall on Ramlala’s forehead. Technology has been used extensively in the construction of the temple. The Prime Minister stressed that heritage and development should go together. The economy of Ayodhya will change in 2 to 3 years.

I did not believe that such a Ram temple would be built: Nripendra Mishra

He said, ‘I never had faith that Ram temple would be built like this. It is very pleasant to see today after seeing the old days. Who would want the Lord to remain a temporary place even after the construction of the sanctum sanctorum? Any kind of dispute regarding God is unnecessary. The grand temple is the result of the hard work of the people involved in the construction work.
