Amin Sayani, radio announcer
Mumbai : Radio announcer Amin Sayani, who became popular in every household with his voice, has passed away. He breathed his last at the age of 91. According to the information, he suffered a heart attack on Tuesday night, after which he was taken to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, where he breathed his last.
Amin Sayani gained fame not only in the country but also abroad with his voice and presentation of programs. His famous program Binaka Geetmala was broadcast on Radio Ceylon. Amin Sayani started his radio career in 1951.
His style of talking through addressing brothers and sisters on radio was also quite popular. According to one information, he did about 54 thousand radio programs and 19 thousand spots or jingles.
