Farooq Abdullah praised PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday flagged off the first electric train in the Kashmir Valley and train service between Sangaldan station and Baramulla station, a move that won national praise. National Conference Party chief Farooq Abdullah also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and praised him. National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah said, “…we needed this. This is important for our tourism and people. This is a big step that has been taken today. I congratulate the Railway Ministry and PM Modi for this.” Am…”

Abdullah said that “connecting rail solves many problems caused by road service, it also helps in transportation and supply of goods and services. I am hopeful that this service will bring progress for our people. We had hoped that this service would start in 2007 itself but there were many difficulties due to the hilly terrain. Now we are happy that this service will start.”

Azad had made the allegation, Abdullah had replied

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad had claimed about Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah that they hold secret meetings with PM Narendra Modi. On this, Farooq Abdullah had said, “I am surprised when I hear such statements from him. He had said that if I have to meet Prime Minister Modi or Amit Shah, I will meet him during the day, why should I meet him at night?”

Farooq Abdullah had said, “I definitely respect Azad Saheb but I am surprised.” What fear will I meet at night? It is regrettable that they are saying this so loudly. What is the reason why Farooq Abdullah is being defamed and dragged everywhere? He should remember that when no one wanted him to get the Rajya Sabha seat, it was I who gave him the Rajya Sabha seat.
