New Delhi: The former co-founder of Bharat Pay and former judge of Shark Tank India remains in the news for one reason or the other. Grover, who has been in the news for his statements and decisions, is once again in the news. This time he is in the news because he was stopped at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Actually he was going from Delhi to America. During this time he was stopped at the airport. He himself gave this information through his social media account.

Ashneer Grover posted on his Twitter handle, “What’s going on in India? Currently stopped at Ashneer airport, sir.” Ashneer told that he and his wife were stopped at Delhi airport. Actually, he was going to New York with his wife. According to Ashneer, he and his wife were stopped by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police at the airport. It is being told that EOW had issued Lookout Circular (LOC) and due to this he has been prevented from leaving the country.

Ashneer told that an FIR was registered against him in May and after that he has gone on foreign trips four times. He was not aware of the LOC being issued against him and came to know about it when he returned home from the airport. He told that till date I had not even been called in this matter.

Received summons on Friday morning – Ashneer

Ashneer told that he received the EOW summons at his home on Friday morning and he will cooperate as always. He said that the process of removing LOC is going on and there is nothing to fear. It is easy to prove myself innocent and that is what I will do. In his post, Ashneer wrote a saying prevalent in Haryana, ‘Be considered a Jat when you become thirteenth’. Don’t make the mistake of considering me dead for thirteen days after being burnt on the pyre.
