Surprising news has come out from Karnataka. According to ANI, former Chief Minister of the state and veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa has been accused of sexual harassment by a minor girl. If sources are to be believed, the police has registered an FIR against Yediyurappa. A case has been registered against him under POCSO and 354 (A) IPC. State Home Minister G Parameshwara and BS Yediyurappa himself have also come forward and given statements on this entire incident.

What did Yediyurappa say?
Former Karnataka CM Yediyurappa has come forward and responded to the allegations against him. He said – “Mother and daughter said that they were in trouble, I called Police Commissioner Dayanand and asked both of them to go to him. In the meantime, she also started speaking against me, I felt that her mental condition was bad.” It is not right, I did not talk much and asked to go to the commissioner. Now it is being said that FIR has been lodged against me only. I will face it as per the law but I tried to help someone and this happened to me. It was done. He said that he was in trouble, so I sent him some money and even after doing all this, such an issue has arisen, let’s face it.
Home Minister Parameshwara also gave a statement
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has also given a statement on the case registered against former CM BS Yediyurappa on charges of sexual harassment of a minor. He said that last night at around 10 pm a woman lodged a complaint against BS Yediyurappa. The police have registered the case. Unless we know the truth, we cannot reveal anything. This is a sensitive matter because it involves a former CM. I don’t think there is any political angle in this. If the victim woman needs protection, it will be provided.
