Former President Pratibha Patil has been admitted to a hospital in Pune city in Maharashtra after complaining of fever and chest infection and her condition is stable. Hospital officials gave this information on Thursday.

89-year-old former President Patil was admitted to Bharti Hospital on Wednesday. A senior hospital official said, “Former President Pratibha Patil was admitted to the hospital last night. He has fever and chest infection. His condition is stable. He is being treated and is under the observation of doctors.
