Hearing in the case of Rahul’s indecent remarks on Home Minister Amit Shah postponed, know the matter

Sultanpur: The hearing in the case of allegedly making objectionable remarks on Home Minister Amit Shah has been postponed. The MP-MLA court of Sultanpur, UP has scheduled the next hearing for January 18 in the case of alleged objectionable remarks on Home Minister Amit Shah due to boycott of work by the advocates on Saturday.

The MP-MLA court of Sultanpur had issued summons to Rahul on January 6 in the case of making indecent remarks on Shah five years ago. The case was to be heard today (Saturday) but due to the lawyers boycotting work, the next hearing will now be held on January 18.

Advocate Santosh Pandey said this

Petitioner’s advocate Santosh Pandey said that due to the legal workshop of junior advocates in the court, the advocates were boycotting the work, due to which now the next hearing will be held on January 18. Former chairman of cooperative bank and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Mishra, resident of Hanumanganj of Kotwali Dehat police station area, had filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi on August 4, 2018.

Mishra alleged that during the election campaign in Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi had made indecent remarks against former BJP president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. (input language)
