These 20 trains will reach late in Delhi today
New Delhi: There is severe cold and fog in all parts of the country. This is affecting the trains of Indian Railways and they are running much late than their scheduled time. Due to fog in many parts of India, 20 trains have been delayed in Delhi region today (January 8).
How is the weather in Delhi?
North India remains in the grip of cold wave. It is extremely cold here from the mountains to the plains. In many places from Delhi-NCR and surrounding plains to the mountains, there was sunshine for some time on Sunday, but shivering is being seen in the morning and evening.
Along with cold wave, fog is also being seen in Delhi-NCR. The result is that people have to resort to fire. Rail and air traffic is being affected due to haze and fog across North India. The visibility level at IGI Airport was recorded at 1400 meters till 7 am. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate fog will be seen in Delhi-NCR on Monday morning. It will remain partly cloudy during the day.
