Horrific road accident on Delhi-Jaipur highway, car catches fire after collision with tanker, 4 killed

Gurugram: Four people died tragically in a horrific road accident that took place last night on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway in Gurugram district of Haryana. According to reports, the accident occurred when an out-of-control tanker jumped the divider and hit a car and a pickup van. After the accident, the car caught fire and the three people in it were burnt alive. In this accident, the driver of the pickup van also died on the spot. Let us tell you that earlier on Wednesday night too, a horrific road accident took place on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway in which a woman and her 5 year old daughter were burnt to death.

The people in the car could not be saved

The team of fire fighters who reached the accident near Sidhrawali village on the Delhi-Jaipur highway late night, brought the fire in the car under control, but the people in it could not be saved. In the accident that took place on Wednesday, two passengers died when a sleeper bus caught fire while 29 people were seriously burnt. Gurugram Police on Thursday said that the driver and conductor of the bus have been identified. 28-year-old Maya and her 5-year-old daughter Deepali died while 29 others were injured when a moving sleeper bus caught fire around 08:30 pm on Wednesday night.

Was a gas cylinder kept in the bus?

During investigation, it was revealed that some ‘banned items’ were kept in the bus which caught fire. According to unconfirmed reports, there was a gas cylinder on board the bus. Police said that 11 of the injured were admitted to Civil Hospital, from where two people were referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi in critical condition. Doctor Manav of Civil Hospital said that all the injured have suffered 30 to 50 percent burns but their condition is stable. According to the police, Maya’s husband Dinesh Kumar lodged a complaint after which an FIR was registered under Section 304-A of IPC (death due to negligence) at Sector 40 police station late on Wednesday night.
