How are Indian Army soldiers trained? Army is deployed on every front

Indian Army is one of the best armies in the world.

New Delhi: The Indian Army is counted among the strongest armies in the world. The specialty of the Indian Army is that it is capable of dealing with any kind of situations on every front. The soldiers who are recruited in the Indian Army are prepared in such a way that they can easily deal with any situation. Be it any natural disaster in the country or the security of the country’s borders, the Indian Army bravely fights external attacks. In such a situation, we will know in detail about this specialty of the Indian Army.

Special training is given to soldiers

Actually, the climate and structure of entire India is different in itself. While there is severe cold in the north of India, in areas like Rajasthan the condition remains miserable due to heat. Apart from this, whether it is to fight Naxalites or external terrorists, if anyone can fight on all these fronts, then the name of Indian Army comes first for that. Indian Army soldiers are given special training for this. Army soldiers are given 20 weeks of rigorous training to deal with these situations.

Training centers built at different places

After Indian Army soldiers are selected, they are sent to different training centers in the country. Training takes place in centers at different places. In this training which lasts for 20 weeks, a civilian is made a trained soldier. During this, every soldier is made strong not only physically but also mentally and naturally. During training, special attention is paid to the physical fitness of the soldiers. In this, the main activities of the soldiers are running, exercise, vertical rope, horizontal rope, push-up, pull-up, front roll and back roll.

This is how soldiers are prepared

Apart from this, drill training is given to the soldiers, which we often see on the Republic Day parade. Under drill training, soldiers are given training on their lifestyle, food habits, clothing etc. This training teaches discipline to the soldiers. After the drill training, army soldiers do every work according to a rule. After this the soldiers are given training in using weapons. In this, apart from using weapons, the soldiers are given complete detailed information about the weapons. Along with this, they are also given training for shooting.

What do soldiers do during training?

  • waking up between 3 and 4 in the morning
  • Cleaning the surrounding area before training
  • Exercise starts after 5:30
  • After breakfast at 7 o’clock, training starts again at 8 o’clock.
  • Drill, weapon and PT training is conducted till 1 pm.
  • Time is available for lunch and other activities till 2:30 pm.
  • The surrounding area has to be maintained till 4:30 pm
  • Have to take part in sports activities in the evening
  • Training ends at 6:30
  • Training starts again the next day after dinner at 8 o’clock.

Posting is done after training

After the training is over, the soldiers are sent to different places for posting. Along with this, a civilian is given complete training and is made an army soldier who is capable of facing every difficulty in every situation of India. If the soldiers are not able to complete the training, they are re-trained and their training time is also increased.
