How agents are sent to Russia-Ukraine war on the pretext of jobs

Recently, some such news came from across the country, which made us think about thugs. Recently, some news came that some youths are being forcibly recruited into the Russian Army and sent to fight in Ukraine. The Foreign Ministry became alert regarding this and started talks with the Russian government. In such a situation, today we are going to give you all the information related to this network that how Indian youth were sent to the front line in the Russia-Ukraine war in the name of jobs abroad?

youth are deceived like this

The first step of this network is promotion, i.e. different companies of private visa consultancy used to connect with those youth who are interested in jobs abroad by making videos through YouTube. Then these youth are told that there are different types of jobs, like delivery boy, job in Russian Army. For a job in the army, it was said that you should not go to the border, shoot tank guns, or go to war. They take the youth into confidence that nothing like this will happen.

Give assurance by showing video

To trust Russia, they used to make some videos and show that everything is fine here, the situation is fine, Russia has captured some parts of Ukraine. The army here is in the war zone, you do not have to go there. Rather, your job will be as a helper in the army. Like handling the paperwork, evacuating the buildings destroyed in the war, making their list etc. In this way the excuse of working as a helper in the army is given. Then the youth were told that you will have training for 3 months, during the training you will get a salary of Rs 40,000, after that your salary will become Rs 1 lakh.

Forced to sign contract

Then when the youth who wanted a job abroad would go to Russia, as soon as they reached here, the agent would take them to some camp site and take all the valid documents of these youth. Then they were told that they will be given war training and sent to the front line, when the youth refused, the Russian police would catch them and keep them somewhere and were told either sign a contract with us or else they would be sentenced to 10 years. The youth were forced to sign contracts without understanding the language and then were sent to fight in the front lines.

CBI raided 13 locations

Recently CBI has taken action in this matter. CBI has completed its ongoing raids at 13 locations in 7 states. Investigation has revealed that a Delhi-based visa consultancy company has sent about 180 Indian youth to Russia. Besides, CBI is also investigating as to how many youth have been sent to War Zone. Investigation revealed that most of the youth were sent to Russia on student visa. CBI is now busy in finding out how many youth were sent to Russia on student visa, who took admission in the university and how many did not take admission at all. In the investigation, most of the young students, after reaching Russia on student visa, instead of taking admission in the university, used to get employed illegally.

37 victims came forward

Recently, Mohammad Asfan of Hyderabad died in this war, when the Embassy came to know about it, then CBI suo-moto registered a case against this consultancy and its directors and conducted a raid and recovered Rs 50 lakh along with all the documents. About 37 such victims have come to light who were duped and sent to Russia to fight in the army, in which one youth died and many were injured. MEA, Home Ministry along with CBI is trying to bring youth from Russia to India and the people running these companies are being tightened.
