Huge crowd gathered at Anand Vihar and Kaushambi bus stand, video of foot over bridge went viral

New Delhi: Diwali will be celebrated across the country on Sunday. Everyone wants to celebrate this festival with their family. People from all over the country have started towards their homes with the help of buses and trains. Huge crowd is being seen at bus stations and railway stations. Lakhs of people from Delhi have also left for home by bus and train.

Video of foot over bridge went viral

A huge crowd is also seen at Anand Vihar bus stand, railway station and Kaushambi bus stand of Ghaziabad located on the border of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. During this time, only people are seen on the foot over bridge connecting the border of the two states. There is no place to even set foot on this bridge. Everyone wants to reach home as soon as possible. The government has also made special arrangements for this. UP Roadways has run special buses on many routes.

Railways also made special preparations

Indian Railways has also made special preparations for the convenience of passengers. To ease travel during the current festive season, Indian Railways has announced the introduction of 1,700 special trains, adding approximately 26 lakh additional berths. A railway official told news agency PTI that these additional trains are being run to ease the high passenger demand due to both Diwali and Chhath Puja.

Special Vande Bharat train runs between Delhi and Patna

This time, Railways has also run a special Vande Bharat train for the passengers going from Delhi to Patna for the festive season. Vande Bharat special train will be run for New Delhi-Patna. Vande Bharat Express with 16 coaches will travel from New Delhi to Patna in about 11 and a half hours. This special Vande Bharat train was dispatched from New Delhi on the morning of 11th November.
