He said that he is now retiring from wrestling politics and will never contest any wrestling association election in his life.

He said that Amit Shah is the leader of our party, I will meet him. But there will be no discussion regarding wrestling during this period. Regarding the decision of the Sports Ministry, he said that I have nothing to do with it. I have retired from wrestling politics.

Along with this, on the question of challenging the decision of Sports Ministry in Delhi High Court, he said that this decision has to be taken by Sanjay Singh. I have nothing to do with it. Along with this, he again reiterated that he will meet Home Minister Amit Shah, but there will be no discussion regarding wrestling during this time.

Government suspended new body of WFI

Amidst the ongoing controversy regarding new wrestlers and Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the Sports Ministry of the Government of India has taken a big decision. The government has suspended the new body of WFI. After which the new President of the Indian Wrestling Association, Sanjay Singh and his entire team have been suspended. The Sports Ministry has taken this big decision after the retirement of Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik and withdrawal of Padma Shri award to Bajrang Punia.

The ministry also canceled all the upcoming programs of the wrestling association.

The Sports Ministry has said in its order that the new association had announced the upcoming tournaments and programs against the rules. In which the decision was taken to organize Under-15 and Under-20 National Championships in Nandini Nagar, Gonda. Many female wrestlers including Sakshi Malik had raised questions on this. The Sports Ministry has said in the order that the Wrestling Association will not be able to take any decision from now on.
