IMD Alert: Entire North India is shivering due to severe cold, know when will we get relief from cold wave?

Severe cold alert issued in North India

The entire North India including the country’s capital Delhi is in the grip of severe cold these days. Regarding this, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of dense to very dense fog in some areas in North India for the next 4 to 5 days. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cold day for the next four days in the plains of North-West India. In some areas, there is talk of cold wave to severe cold wave during the next three days. After three days the cold will gradually begin to subside. According to IMD, there will be dense fog in North India for the next few days, due to which moisture will remain, due to which crops can suffer a lot.

Cold wave will prevail in these states

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in some parts of Punjab Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi for a few hours at night and in the morning for the next three days. At the same time, cold wave conditions are likely to continue in many parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense to very dense fog for a few hours in the morning during 14 to 16 January in some parts of Punjab and different parts of Haryana and Chandigarh, while in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar also there will be dense fog on 14 and 15 January. There will be fog.

Cold will subside after January 17

Dense to very dense fog is expected in parts of Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh from January 14 to 15. The Meteorological Department said that there will be very dense fog in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next two days. There will be dense fog in the northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur from 14 to 16 January. There is a possibility of dense fog at some places in some areas of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on January 17.

There is a possibility of frost in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh and East Rajasthan on January 14. An alert has been issued regarding cold day from 14 to 16 January at different places in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. According to the Meteorological Department, severe cold may occur in these areas. After January 17, there may be a change in the weather and the cold may gradually reduce.
