IMD Weather Update: Chances of rain in these states including Delhi-NCR; No respite from cold – India TV Hindi

The weather department informed that there is no respite from the cold.

New Delhi: Even in the last days of January, the effect of cold is being seen all over North India. However, yesterday the weather remained clear in many areas including Delhi-NCR and no fog was seen. Because of this, even though the day temperature remained hot, the cold has still not reduced. The Meteorological Department has still indicated that the cold is not over. The Meteorological Department says that there may be some relief from fog, but the cold will continue like this for many days to come. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of rain at some places in the next week.

Weather will remain clear in Delhi-NCR

On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Delhi-NCR was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, which was the highest this month. Talking about the minimum temperature, it was recorded only at 4.3 degrees Celsius, which is quite cold. Apart from this, the weather is expected to remain clear even today. However, the Meteorological Department says that there may be light rain in Delhi and its surrounding areas on or after January 31. The Meteorological Department says that there may be light or moderate fog for the next few days, but there will not be too much fog.

Yellow alert issued in Uttarakhand

Talking about the hilly states of North India, an alert has been issued regarding snowfall here. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for fog in many plain areas of Uttarakhand, while a yellow alert has been issued for frost in the hilly areas. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will be clear today, but people may have to face problems due to fog in the plains. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in many areas after January 31.

Chances of rain in these states

The Meteorological Department says that due to the latest western disturbance, the impact on the weather of the Western Himalayan region can be seen from today. In such a situation, heavy rain or snowfall is expected at different places in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh between January 28 and January 31. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in many areas of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh. Due to cold, many trains are also running late.
