India TV-CNX exit poll: According to the projections of India TV-CNX exit poll for the assembly elections held in five states, Congress may get a clear majority in Telangana and Chhattisgarh, while in Rajasthan it may get majority by a very small margin. Whereas in Madhya Pradesh, BJP can retain power by securing two-thirds majority. Zoramthanga’s Mizo National Front (MNF) may face a hung assembly in Mizoram. Exit poll projections were broadcast on India TV tonight.

Telangana: Total 119 seats, Congress can get 63-79, BRS 31-47, AIMIM 5-7, BJP 2-4 seats. Vote share: Congress 42.43 percent, BRS 37.52 percent, BJP 12.07 percent, AIMIM 2.7 percent, others 5.28 percent

Rajasthan: Total 199 seats, Congress 94-104, BJP 80-90, others may get 14-18 seats. Vote share: Congress 41.43 percent, BJP 41.57 percent, others 15.02 percent.

Chhattisgarh: Total 90 seats, Congress 46-56, BJP 30-40, others may get 3-5 seats. Vote share: Congress 43.3 percent, BJP 40.5 percent, others 16.2 percent.
