New Delhi: There was a change of power in Bihar on Sunday. Nitish Kumar took oath as the CM of the state for the ninth time. Nitish Kumar remained the Chief Minister but he changed his alliance partners. Till 11 am on Sunday morning, he was running the Grand Alliance government, but after taking oath at 5 pm, he became the Chief Minister of the NDA government. Eight other ministers including him took oath on Sunday evening.
After Nitish Kumar’s reversal, RJD and Congress leaders are launching a fierce attack. In this sequence, Congress Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has taken a dig at Nitish Kumar. He has repeatedly attacked Nitish Kumar for resigning and taking oath. Jairam Ramesh tweeted, “After taking the oath, Nitish Kumar ji forgot his muffler in the Raj Bhawan. When he came back halfway to pick it up, the Governor was shocked that this time not even 15 minutes had passed.”
‘There was already a fear of Nitish Kumar leaving the India alliance’
Earlier, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that there was already a possibility of Nitish Kumar leaving the India alliance. While talking to the media on Sunday, Kharge said, “There are many people like ‘Aaya Ram-Gaya Ram’ in the country. Earlier they and we were fighting together. When I talked to Lalu ji and Tejashwi ji, they also said that Nitish is going. If he wanted to stay, he would have stayed but he wants to go. So we already knew this, but we did not say anything to keep the India alliance intact. If we say something wrong then the wrong message will be sent. Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav had already given us this information. Today it became true.”
Nitish Kumar was a tired Chief Minister- Tejashwi
After the resignation of Nitish Kumar, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also attacked. Tejashwi said that Nitish Kumar was a tired Chief Minister, but we got the work done. Gave jobs to lakhs of youth. Got many development works started. Whatever happened in the state in the last 17 months, could not happen in the last 17 years and Nitish Kumar probably felt bad about this. Therefore he left the Grand Alliance and joined NDA. Tejashwi said that the public will punish Nitish Kumar for this act.
