Jayant Chaudhary himself spoke on seat sharing with NDA, answered every question – India TV Hindi

Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) President Jayant Choudhary said in Mathura on Sunday that no formal announcement has been made yet regarding his party’s joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), hence nothing has been decided yet on seat distribution. He said that it is expected that this announcement will be made soon and only then the seats will be decided. Let us inform that the RLD chief along with all his MLAs had arrived in Mathura on Sunday to participate in the meeting organized at the local office regarding pre-election preparations.

Meanwhile, on the question of contesting elections from Mathura, Jayant Chaudhary told the journalists that he has definitely talked to the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but no formal announcement has been made yet about joining NDA. He said that the seats to be given to his party will be decided only after the formal decision is taken. Only then will it be decided who will contest the elections from Mathura. Earlier, Chaudhary discussed the upcoming activities of the party and preparations for the Lok Sabha elections with all the 10 MLAs at the Ganesara Marg office for about half an hour.

Support to NDA in Rajya Sabha elections

Jayant Chaudhary said that all RLD MLAs will vote in favor of NDA candidates in the Rajya Sabha elections. Chaudhary made it clear that he is no longer a part of the opposition’s ‘India’ alliance. On the question of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Nyaya Yatra’ reaching western Uttar Pradesh, he only said that he has our best wishes. On the farmers’ movement, he said that it is hoped that a solution to the farmers’ movement will be found soon. He said that talks are going on at the government level. Many ministers have been sent to talk to the farmers. Even discussions are being held with state governments.
