Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the Governor has given an appointment to Champai Soren. Champai Soren will meet the Governor at 5.30 pm where he is going to meet the Governor. Yesterday, Hemant Soren was arrested by ED in a case related to land scam. Champai Soren has been elected leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Legislative Party.
A delegation of total five MLAs will go to Raj Bhavan
According to the information, a delegation of five people including Champai Soren will go to Raj Bhavan. This delegation will include Alam Gir Alam of Congress, Vinod Singh of ML, Pradiv Yadav of Congress and Satyanand Gupta of RJD. Alliance leaders say that if the Governor asks, we will take all the MLAs of the alliance to Raj Bhavan.
After getting an appointment from Raj Bhavan, the situation of political confusion in Jharkhand now seems to be becoming clear. It was only after Hemant Soren’s resignation late on Wednesday night that Champai Soren, as the leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s legislative party, staked claim to form the government. But the Governor had assured to consider Champai Soren’s letter. On the other hand, about 40 MLAs of the ruling alliance have stayed in the Circuit House in Ranchi since Wednesday night. There are speculations that these MLAs may be shifted somewhere else.
