JP Nadda thundered in the BJP convention, said – will win Lok Sabha elections for the third time – India TV Hindi

JP Nadda roared in BJP convention

Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda said on Saturday that the party has progressed rapidly since Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed power. He praised the Prime Minister’s leadership in the last decade which has been full of new achievements for the party organization. Addressing the delegates present at the two-day national convention here, Nadda said that after the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May, the Modi government will score a ‘hat-trick’ and retain power for the third consecutive time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Ministers including Nadda, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of party-ruled states, State Ministers, National and State Ministers were present in the two-day meeting of the National Convention held at Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan here. Around 11,500 delegates including senior level officials, MPs and MLAs are participating.

What did JP Nadda say in the BJP convention?

Nadda said in his presidential speech, “We have to get more than 370 seats and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has to cross the 400 seat mark.” He called upon the party members to work together to achieve this target. When Nadda mentioned the main points of the Prime Minister’s tenure and mentioned the Women’s Reservation Act and the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, thousands of party representatives from across the country stood up and raised slogans in support of Modi. In his address, Nadda said that in the year 2014, BJP was in power in five states, but currently BJP is ruling in 12 states and NDA in 17 states.

He said the BJP retained power in Uttar Pradesh for a second term in 2022 with a landslide victory, the party also came to power in Uttarakhand for the second consecutive term and recently won assembly elections in three states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. He said that in West Bengal, BJP has increased from 10 percent votes and three seats to 38.5 percent votes and 77 seats in the 2021 assembly elections. He claimed that the party will come to power in the state next time. He said the party came to power for the first time in several north-eastern states including Assam and its vote percentage doubled in Telangana. Rejecting the argument that the party has limited presence in South India, Nadda said, “Lotus (BJP’s election symbol) is everywhere. This is an all India party.
