Karnataka government will spend Rs 2700 crore to get rid of traffic in Bengaluru – India TV Hindi

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has presented the state budget in the Assembly today, Friday 16 February. In this budget, the CM has made many big announcements for the traffic of Bengaluru, farmers and minorities of the state. Siddaramaiah has announced to spend Rs 2700 crore to get rid of the troublesome traffic problem in Bengaluru. Let us know what other big announcements have been made in the budget.

Many big announcements for the Muslim community

While presenting the budget in the Assembly, CM Siddaramaiah said that the government will spend Rs 100 crore for the development of Waqf property. Free reimbursement scheme will be started for students belonging to minority community doing BSC, Nursing. Haj Bhawan will also be constructed in Mangaluru at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

What did the other community get?

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has also announced in the Assembly that the government will spend Rs 200 crore for the development of religious areas of the Christian community. At the same time, Rs 50 crore will be spent for the development of Jain religious place. Rs 1 crore has been announced for Gurudwara development in Bidar. Along with this, CM has announced to run a total of programs worth Rs 393 crore in the year 2024-25 through Minority Development Corporation.

BJP boycotted the House

Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs have boycotted the proceedings of the House during the budget session. The BJP alleged that in both the Governor’s speech and the budget speech, the Siddaramaiah government has targeted the Central government without any basis.
