Meanwhile, news has come that instead of going to ED, Kejriwal is going to visit Gujarat. Here he is also going to meet his party’s MLA who is in jail.

Gujarat visit in view of Lok Sabha elections

According to the information received so far, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is going to visit Gujarat for 3 days. He will be in Gujarat on 6,7,8 January. This visit of Kejriwal is being organized to take stock of the preparations of Aam Aadmi Party in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Will also meet the jailed MLA

Kejriwal will organize workers’ conference and public meetings during his 3-day Gujarat tour. During this tour, Kejriwal will also meet jailed Aam Aadmi Party MLA Chaitra Vasava. Kejriwal will meet Vasava’s family members. Gujarat’s Narmada Police had registered a case against MLA Chaitra Vasava for threatening forest workers and firing. Vasava had surrendered before the police.

Will Kejriwal be arrested today?

Aam Aadmi Party has expressed apprehension that today ED may raid Arvind Kejriwal’s house and arrest him. The party has alleged that Kejriwal’s house has been sealed off from all sides by the police. All roads leading to the Chief Minister’s residence have been closed. But contrary to the party’s claims, both the roads leading to CM House have been opened.
